W3global Echo is a Chrome extension that adds email open and click tracking to Gmail. When you send a tracked email, Echo records when the message is opened by the recipient and whether any links are clicked. Results are displayed on your personal Echo dashboard.
This policy explains what data is collected, how it is used, and your rights regarding that data.
Echo collects only the minimum data required to provide email tracking:
All collected data is used exclusively to provide the email tracking service to you:
Data is never used for: advertising, profiling, analytics sold to third parties, or any purpose unrelated to the tracking features you explicitly use.
All tracking data is stored on your organisation's own server at echo.w3global.com, which is operated by W3global. Data is not transmitted to any third-party service, analytics platform, or advertising network.
A small send-queue is temporarily stored in your browser's sessionStorage to ensure reliable delivery of tracking registrations. This queue is cleared automatically after successful transmission and is not accessible outside your browser session.
W3global Echo does not execute any remote code. All extension scripts are bundled locally within the installed package. The extension never uses eval(), dynamic <script> injection, or any mechanism that loads executable code from a remote source.
W3global Echo does not sell, rent, share, or otherwise transfer any user data to third parties. All data remains within your organisation's own Echo server.
